1. About us

This website is operated by Ancient Replicas Ltd, registered in England & Wales, with its registered office at Wesley House, Bull Hill, Leatherhead, KT22 7AH. You can contact us at info@ancientreplicas.co.uk or +44 (0)1372 000 000. By using this website and placing an order you agree to these terms.

2. Our products

All items sold by us are contemporary, museum-quality reproductionsof ancient and historic coins and artifacts. They are not genuine antiquities and are not represented as such. Descriptions of the ancient originals are provided for interest and context only. Slight variations in patina, finish and dimensions are a natural feature of handcrafted pieces.

3. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to decline an order — for example, if an item is unavailable or a pricing error has occurred.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP). Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown before you complete your order. Payment is taken through our secure payment provider. Bespoke commissions and restoration work are quoted individually (see clause 7).

5. Delivery

We aim to dispatch orders promptly and will confirm delivery timescales at the point of order or enquiry. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If an item arrives damaged in transit, please contact us promptly so we can put it right.

6. Returns and cancellations

You may return an item within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange, provided it is returned in its original condition. To start a return, contact us at info@ancientreplicas.co.uk and we will provide return instructions. The cost of return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty or was sent in error. Refunds are issued to your original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, where applicable, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7. Bespoke commissions and restoration

We offer restoration of damaged coins and bespoke custom pieces. Because this work is carried out to your specification, it is priced individually and is made to order. Bespoke and restoration work is not eligible for the standard 30-day return above, as it is made specifically for you — but if the work is defective or not as agreed, we will of course put it right. A quote will be provided and agreed with you before any work begins.

8. Faulty goods

If a product is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights. Please contact us with details and, where possible, photographs.

9. Intellectual property

The content of this website — including text, images, our moulds and our designs — is the property of Ancient Replicas Ltd or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

10. Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable at the time the contract was made.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data.

These terms are provided as a general template for a UK-based retailer offering 30-day returns and bespoke restoration. Before going live you should have them reviewed by a qualified solicitor to ensure they fit your business and comply with current consumer law.
